ITINERARY

Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will have breakfast and be picked by the guide who will transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park. You will make a stop at the equator for photographs and another stop in Mbarara for lunch. You will reach the park in the afternoon. Take a boat trip on Lake Mburo its self in search for water birds such as the Lesser and Greater swamp warblers, White winged warbler, papyrus Gonolek, and the elusive shoebill stock among others . Dinner and overnight Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 2: Birding Lake Mburo National Park
This morning go for a nature walk through the acacia associated bird habitats. Through the tall grass savannah dotted with Acacia and Euphobia tree you are most likely to see Crested Francolin, Emerald-spotted Wood dove, Brown Parrot, Bare-faced Go-away-bird, Blue-naped Mouse bird, Lilac-breasted Roller, Green Wood-hoopoe, Common Scimitar bill, African Grey Hornbill, Spot-flanked Barbet, Nubian Woodpecker, Trilling Cisticola,Yellow-breasted Apalis and many more. Return from the drive to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon go for a game drive. You will get to see zebra and the long horned domestic cattle grazing along side peaceably. Return for the evening and spend the night at Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 3: Wildlife Game Viewing and Return to Kampala
Have breakfast and go for an early morning game drive through the park. You will be able to see game like Olive Baboon, Vervet Monkeys, Yellow- winged Bat, Side striped jackal, Dwarf and Banded Mongooses, Common Zebra, Hippopotamus, Common Warthog, Buffalo, Bushbuck, Oribi, Deffassa Waterbuck and Bohor Reedbuck and many more mammals. In the afternoon drive back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Serena.
