Trip Overview

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest (5-7hrs)
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale forest and afternoon nature walk to Bigodi Ecotourism site
Day 3. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Park (6-7hrs). Afternoon boat cruise on kazinga Channel.
Day 4: Tree Climbing Lions spotting, transfer to Bwindi Forest
Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Trekking adventure in Bwindi Forest. Afternoon transfer to the Lava dammed lake of wonders; lake bunyonyi.
Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi Exploration. Then cross the boarder to Volcanoes National park.
Day 7: Second Gorilla Tracking in Rwanda. Afternoon transfer to Kigali
Day 8: Kigali City Tour. Transfer to Kigali airport for your departure flight.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest (5-7hrs)
Morning breakfast at your hotels is followed by transferring to Kibale forest, a home to 13 primates species. Lunch enroute, dinner and overnight at Mountains of the moon Hotel / Primates Lodge / Ndali Lodge.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking – Nature walk
Morning primates trekking in Kibale forest and afternoon nature walk to Bigodi Ecotourism site, dinner and overnight at your hotel (day 1)

Day 3. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Park
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park (6-7hrs) with enroute game drive to see lions, elephants and Buffaloes, after lunch, embark on afternoon boat cruise  on kazinga Channel to see hundreds of Hippos, Huge Nile crocodiles, and over 600 bird species, dinner and overnight at Ihamba Lodge (Deluxe) / Mweya safari Lodge (Luxury) / Simba Safari Camp (Budget)

Day 4: Tree Climbing Lions spotting, transfer to Bwindi Forest
Morning game drive in search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, etc, return for early lunch and continue to bwindi gorilla park with enroute drive through Ishasha sector (Home of tree climbing lions), overnight at Silverback lodge (Lux) / Engagi lodge (Deluxe) / Buhoma community rest camp.

Day 5: Mountain Gorilla Trekking adventure
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest, afternoon transfer through the Switzerland of Africa to the Lava dammed lake of wonders; lake bunyonyi. Overnight at Arcadia cottages.

Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi Exploration
Boat ride to visit different beautiful islands on the lake, then cross the boarder to Volcanoes National park, overnight at Mountain gorilla view lodge (Lux) / Hotel La Palme (Deluxe) / Kinigi guest Lodge (Budget)

Day 7: Second Gorilla Tracking Excursion
Second gorilla trekking adventure in Rwanda, afternoon transfer to Kigali, Rwanda's capital (2hrs), overnight on Kigali, OR stay for an overnight to transfer back to Kampala on day 8.

Day 8: Kigali City Tour
Kigali city tour to visit genocide memorial sites like Gisozi, later transfer to Kigali airport for your departure flight.
