Trip Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour
Upon arrival at the airport our tour guide will welcome you and transfer to a hotel in Kampala. The tour guide will return to the hotel for you to have a city tour. Visit prominent places such as Namugongo matyres shrine, Bahai temple, Uganda Museum, Makerere University, Kasubi tombs, Iteso cultural dance near Kasubi, Namirembe and Rubaga cathedral, Kabaka's lake, etc. Dinner and overnight stay at Speke Hotel

Day 2: Kampala - Bwindi Gorilla Forest Park
After and early morning breakfast drive westwards having lunch en route in Mbarara. Drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park lions. Arrive in Buhoma in the evening and stay for an overnight at the luxurious Gorilla Resort Camp (High-end), Lake Kitandara Camp (Mid range) /Basic Buhoma community bandas.

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After an early morning breakfast, move to the park headquarters at Buhoma for briefing before beginning to trek the gorillas. The rainforest is fascinating as it offers a lush, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, giving access for visitors. A reasonable mammal population here, include the endangered mountain gorilla, the rare golden monkey, buffalo, elephants, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, leopards, giant forest hogs etc. Mountain gorilla trekking is a breathtaking wildlife experience. The thrill of spending time with and observing these gentle giant apes is a an exciting adventure that will leave you with a memorable unique experience. Dinner and overnightthe luxurious Gorilla Resort Camp (High-end), Lake Kitandara Camp (Mid range) /Basic Buhoma community bandas.

Day 4: Uganda to Rwanda
After breakfast, drive via Kisoro and cross the Rwandan Border to Ruhengeri. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest or Kinigi Guest House

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking in Parc National des Volcanoes (PNV)
Wake up very early in the morning for gorilla trekking in Parc National des Volcans. Tracking in PNV is easier than in Uganda. It takes a few hours to encounter these gorillas. Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest or Kinigi Guest House

Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi Tour

In the morning cross back to Uganda and enjoy a boat cruise at Lake Bunyonyi to the Island where a traditional dance is arranged for you. Buy some handicrafts and move to White Horse Inn for relaxation, dinner and an overnight.

Day 8: Return to Kampala

In the morning after breakfast, drive back to Kampala via the Kigezi Highlands commonly referred to as the Switzerland of Africa. Arrive in Kampala in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Speke hotel or similar other
