It gives you an opportunity to witness this incredible experience of being close to the rare and endangered Mountain Gorillas in Congo's Virunga National Park. The time you will take searching these mystical apes is unpredictable but expected between 2-5 hours depending on their movements. Nothing beats the feeling of coming face to face with a gorilla family!

Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala - Kisoro
Leave Kampala early after breakfast, heading southwards to Kisoro. Stop over at the Equator for a photograph. Then drive through the Ankole region, where you will see the typical Ankole cattle, coffee plantations and the different vegetations of Uganda, up to the terraced and cultivated hills of the Kigezi region, best known as the Switzerland of Africa due to its coldness.
Kisoro is located within the area of the tropical rain forests at the borders between Uganda, Congo and Rwanda, at the foothills of Muhavura and other Volcanoes. Dinner and overnight at Kisoro Tourist Hotel.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Congo
Wake up early, take breakfast and prepare for this incredible experience. You will have a briefing on how to conduct during gorilla tracking in Congo's Virunga National Park. After the briefing from the authorities of the park, set off for the trekking into the tropical rain forest with packed lunch and water, searching for the habituated gorilla family. In the course of searching for the Mountain Gorillas, you will be exposed to excellent birding and primates such as the Golden Monkeys, Blue Monkeys, Black and White colobus monkey, and giant forest hogs among others. You will stay with these beautiful primates for one hour for observation and photography.
Return to Kisoro Tourist Hotel for Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, start a full day drive back to Kampala. Lunch en route.
